CMJ traffic bulletin: Saturday 7 August until Saturday 14 August
Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures for ongoing work as part of the Central Motorway Junction upgrade project.
**********
‘Enclosed lane’ in place
Transit New Zealand reminds all motorists that major changes are in place to the northbound lanes of the Southern Motorway between Gillies Ave and Grafton Rd.
The fast lane (right hand lane) is separated from the other lanes with barriers, forming an ‘enclosed lane’. The enclosed lane only allows access to Nelson St and the North Shore. It does not allow access to Symonds St, Wellesley St, Port or Waitakere off-ramps and should not be used by Gillies Ave on-ramp traffic.
Warning signs are in place and motorists are asked to drive with caution.
