V8 International street race submission results
Some 393 submissions have been received on the resource consent application to stage the V8 International street race in Auckland from 2006.
63 per cent (248) are in favour of the V8 international street race.
Following the close of submissions at 5pm on Wednesday 30 June 2004, City Planning has had the responsibility of collating, numbering and summarising all submissions received by the Auckland City Council and copying them to the applicant.
As at today, 85 submissions not received by 30 June have been recorded as late submissions. Of these, 60 support the consent application, 22 are opposed and two do not state their position.
The submissions will be forwarded to independent processing planners who will be providing a report to three independent commissioners.
