CMJ traffic bulletin: Saturday 19 June until Thursday 24 June
Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures for work on the Central Motorway Junction
upgrade over the next week.
CMJ Stage 1
Saturday 19 June - CLOSED - during the day from 6am to 8pm:

Sunday 20 June - CLOSED - during the day from 7am to 4.30pm:

Sunday 20 June - CLOSED - overnight from 8pm to 6am the following morning:

. Either Boston Rd or Khyber Pass Rd near the motorway ramps
Ongoing motorway lane closures:
. North and southbound lanes on the Southern Motorway between the Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and the Symonds St
overbridge - CLOSED - at night from 8pm over the next fortnight.
Please choose alternative routes during these closures. Motorists are advised that there could be delays.
The CMJ Project
Stage 1 of Transit's Central Motorway Junction upgrade project covers the section of motorway between the Upper Queen St
over-bridge and Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and is scheduled for completion in 2005.

Stage 2 of Transit's Central Motorway Junction upgrade project extends from Bond St on the Northwestern Motorway (SH16)
to the interface with CMJ Stage 1 near Symonds St and from Wellington St on the Southern Motorway (SH1) to Symonds St.

8.00am - 5.30pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Saturdays 10:00am - 12:00pm and the first Sunday of each month 10:00am -
12:00pm.
