Last chance to have say on Draft Road Safety Strategy
People have just a few more days to have their say on the draft Road Safety Strategy as public consultation on this document closes on Friday, June 18.
The strategy was developed by the Council Road Safety Coordinating Committee to map the direction and identify key issues that Council and other road safety-involved organisations would use to reduce road-crash trauma on Christchurch roads in the next five years.
Copies of the draft strategy are available from any council library or service centre and anyone can comment on the proposals therein. Feedback will be considered in the development of the final Road Safety Strategy, which will be available in September.
You can have your say on the document by visiting the http://www.ccc.govt.nz/haveyoursay/ Council website.
