Raumati South -'The Early Days' Exhibition
June is heritage month and the Raumati South Residents Group is holding an exhibition of stories, photos and memorabilia of the Early Days of Raumati South on Sunday the 27th of June from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM at the historic Valhalla building (formerly Mark's general store) in Raumati South.
Conservation Award winner Anthony Dreaver will officially open the celebration of our heritage at Noon. Admission is free and donations are gratefully accepted. Please drop in any time from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. On Monday the 28th of June local school children have been invited to a special children's heritage day to attend the exhibition.
A reunion of past and present residents will be part of Sunday's activities to celebrate some of our long term residents .
