CMJ traffic bulletin: Tuesday 15 June Wednesday 16 June
Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures for work on the Central Motorway Junction upgrade next week. These closures are in addition to those stated in the Traffic Bulleting dated 11 June.
Port to Northwestern (SH16) link and Wellesley Street on-ramp will be closed between 10.00pm and 5.00 am on the night of Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 16 June Contingency Thursday 17 June 2004. Southern Motorway (SH1) to the Northwestern ( SH16) link westbound on Tuesday 15 June between 9.00pm and 6.00am. Contingency Wednesday 16 June.
The CMJ Project
Stage 1 of Transit's Central Motorway Junction upgrade project covers the section of motorway between the Upper Queen St over-bridge and Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and is scheduled for completion in 2005. Project information centre: corner of Stanley Street and Alten Road, Grafton, 8.30am - 5.30pm, weekdays. Phone 0800 ToFreeflow (0800 863 733). Stage 2 of Transit's Central Motorway Junction upgrade project extends from Bond St on the Northwestern Motorway (SH16) to the interface with CMJ Stage 1 near Symonds St and from Wellington St on the Southern Motorway (SH1) to Symonds St. Project information centre: 13-19 Howe Street, Freeman's Bay, Monday to
Thursday 8.00am - 5.30pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Saturdays 10:00am - 12:00pm and the first Sunday of each month 10:00am - 12:00pm.
