CMJ traffic bulletin: saturday 12 June until Thursday 17 June
Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures for work on the Central Motorway Junction upgrade over the next week.
CMJ Stage 1
Saturday 12 June 2004 - Closed 6am to 8pm

Sunday 13 June 2004 - Closed 6am to 6am Monday

Local road closures:
Sunday 13 - CLOSED - overnight from 6pm to 6am the following morning
. Khyber Pass Rd near the motorway ramps
Monday 14 - Thursday 17 June - CLOSED - overnight from 8pm to 6am the following morning:
. Either Boston Rd or Khyber Pass Rd near the motorway ramps
Ongoing motorway lane closures:
Over the next three weeks there will be lane closures in place at night from 8pm both north and southbound on the Southern Motorway between the Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and the Symonds St overbridge.
Please choose alternative on- and off-ramps during these closures. Motorists are advised that there could be delays.
The CMJ Project
Stage 1 of Transit's Central Motorway Junction upgrade project covers the section of motorway between the Upper Queen St over-bridge and Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and is scheduled for completion in 2005.

Stage 2 of Transit's Central Motorway Junction upgrade project extends from Bond St on the Northwestern Motorway (SH16) to the interface with CMJ Stage 1 near Symonds St and from Wellington St on the Southern Motorway (SH1) to Symonds St.
