Give yourself a pay rise
Peter Sibbald, company accountant and local author will be at the Central Library signing copies of his book of ‘Slash your taxes now!’ next Wednesday 14 April and again on Friday 16 April.
‘Our biggest expense in life is not purchasing our home, our car or our boat. Our biggest expense is the taxes we pay the government. The easiest dollar to make is the one you save. Every time you find a new legitimate tax deduction, you have given yourself a pay rise,’ Sibbald says.
Sibbald surprised everyone, including himself, by entirely selling out the first print run of ‘Slash your taxes now!’ in its first four weeks and it’s already appearing on the NZ adult non-fiction top 10.
Peter is a Christchurch chartered accountant whose 20-year career has included working as a company accountant, a “Big four” public practice accountant and running his own business.
Peter will be at the Central Library between 12 - 2pm Wednesday 16 April and again on Friday 16 April (in the business centre, 2nd floor), to sign copies of his book and answer questions.
