CMJ traffic bulletin until Thursday 4 March

CMJ traffic bulletin: Saturday 28 February until Thursday 4 March
Stage 1 of Transit New Zealand's Central Motorway Junction upgrade project continues. There are significant closures affecting motorists over the coming week, these are outlined below:
Port / Wellesley On-ramp (SH1 southbound)
- CLOSED from 8pm Friday, 12 March until 8pm Sunday, 14 March.
Symonds Street On-ramp (SH1 southbound)
- CLOSED during the day from 7am until 7pm Saturday, 6 March and at night from 8pm to 6am from Sunday, 7 March until Thursday, 11 March.
Khyber Pass On-ramp (SH1 southbound) and Off-ramp (SH1 northbound)
- CLOSED from 7am Sunday, 7 March until 6am Monday, 8 March and at night from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday, 8 March until Thursday, 11 March.
Gillies Ave On-ramp (SH1 northbound)
- CLOSED from 7am Sunday, 7 March until 6am Monday, 8 March and at night from 8pm to 6am from Monday, 8 March until Thursday, 11 March.
Port / Wellesley Off-ramp (SH1 northbound)
- CLOSED during the day from 7am to 7pm Saturday, 6 March and at night from 8pm to 6am Monday, 8 March until Wednesday, 10 March.
Port to Northwestern Motorway Link
- CLOSED at night from 8pm to 6am Sunday, 7 March through to Tuesday, 9 March.
Northwestern Motorway to Port Link
- CLOSED at night from 8pm to 6am Tuesday, 9 March until Thursday, 11 March.
Wellesley Street On-ramp (SH16 westbound)
- CLOSED at night from 8pm to 6am Tuesday, 9 March.
Northwestern to Southern Motorway Link (SH16 to SH1)
- CLOSED at night from 8pm to 6am from Sunday, 7 March until Thursday, 11 March 2004
Southern Motorway between the Gillies Ave on and off-ramps and the Symonds Street Over-bridge
- North and southbound lanes closures at night from 8pm Saturday, 6 March to 9am Sunday 7 March.
There will also be ongoing north and southbound lane closures at night on the Southern Motorway between the Gillies Avenue on and off-ramps and the Symonds Street over-bridge from Sunday through Thursday nights until 2005.
Please choose alternative on- and off-ramps during these times. Motorists are advised that there could be delays.
The CMJ Project
Stage 1 of Transit's Central Motorway Junction upgrade project covers the section of motorway between the Upper Queen Street over-bridge and Gillies Avenue on- and off-ramps and is scheduled for completion in 2005.
