West Auckland Homicide: Police Name Victim

Police release name from West Auckland Homicide Inquiry
Police can release the name of the deceased woman who was found with head injuries in a West Auckland house.
She was Asolelei Samuelu, aged 32 of Sunnyvale.
Her husband was also found in the house. He suffered head injuries and is in a critical condition in Auckland City Hospital.
The body of the deceased woman was removed from the house this afternoon for a post mortem examination.
Detective Sergeant Megan Goldie says, "The post mortem and a scene examination will help police establish what happened at the house. Two possible weapons have been found and police want to speak to several people in relation to events at the address."
