Lord of The Rings Fever Hits Upper Hutt.
Lord of the Rings fever is on the up in Upper Hutt says City Promotion Manager Paul Lambert.A steady flow of overseas internet bookings is coming in already for "The Return to Rivendell' guided tours planned for Sunday 30 November , the day before the World Premiere.He adds that the interest is very high as it is only listed on one website.Tickets and posters are only just be printed and bookings already very busy.
The tour will visit the four nearby film sites and included a barbecue lunch at Rivendell in Kaitoke Regional Park.
Today -Sunday Lambert hosted a German TV crew at Rivendell ,shooting a range of items in NZ related to the interactive visitor from Germany and Lord of the Rings .
Tour operator Wellington Rover were aslo at Kaitoke today with one of their LOTR sightseeing tours.
Lambert aslo confirmed he has been booked for guiding overseas tour groups around the LOTR venues in the region.
