Mangere Bridge Library closes for renovation
The Mangere Bridge Library will be closing on Friday 10 October at 5.00pm for renovations, reopening on Thursday 23 October, 9.00am
Library manager Heather Spence says that people will see big changes to the library when it reopens. "You'll come in through a new automatic entrance door and into our wonderful new children's section. Our learn.net, a library learning centre, will also be open. Its the third learn.net in the city-side library system, following Papatoetoe in August and Manurewa in early October.
"New paint and new carpet throughout will brighten the whole library. We're very excited about the renovations and look forward to sharing them with our customers on the 23rd."
Library customers are encouraged to use either Mangere Town Centre Library or Mangere East Library during the closure. Council apologises for any inconvenience to library users.
