Raumati South Residents Community Meeting
The Raumati South Residents Group is holding a community meeting on Sunday the 12 th October 2003 at the Raumati South Memorial Hall at 2:30 PM. Councillors, Residents Group members and the public are invited to attend.
Issues on the agenda include Water, Recreation/Reserves areas, Development, Queen Elizabeth Park and issues from the floor.
The Resident Group Committee has sent a letter to the KCDC expressing alarm at the implications of the latest disposal of reserve land by the KCDC. The group passed a motion for the KCDC to urgently provide a list of reserves and accessways in Raumati South Area including their current status. Furthermore, the motion included a request for a moratorium on any and all sales of such reserves and accessways.
