Hypnotic History To Be Made With Mass Stop Smoking Event!
On Tuesday the 7th Oct (see flyer below) there will be a mass hypnotic event in Civic Square Wellington.
This is a FREE PUBLIC event where international hypnotist Peter Powers will not only encourage the ‘Quit Smoking’ philosophy he holds to but will attempt a mass hypnosis record setting session.
While it is full acknowledged that hypnotism and sleep induction programming are not the cure all to ‘Stop Smoking’ they are a very effective tool in the ‘Quit Programme’. The event will also coincide with the NZ launch of Mr. Powers’ ‘STOP SMOKING CD” The system uses sleep induction and has been particularly successful for those who have used the programme as prescribed in the UK. In NZ the net proceeds from the sale of this CD in NZ will go to the Wellington Branch of the NZ Cancer Foundation.
Peter Powers NZ tour commences in Auckland on Oct 10 and will visit 17 centres nationwide over the following weeks. His stage persona is a hilarious ‘adults only’ production and totally the opposite of the clinical work he also conducts. On the upcoming tour Peter will have a hectic schedule but in future visits will incorporate both group and individual clinics.
With the support from the Cancer Society and Smokefree (Health Sponsorship Council), Wellington City Council and others the event is now a unique Wellington occasion we are looking forward to hosting in the Capital. While not everyone will respond identically to hypnotic suggestion and there is little way to monitor the results long term, the promoters are encouraging attendees to email their reactions back as a way to establish new workable feedback and statistics.
