Stall holders and sponsors needed for Aranui Family Festival, Affirm
Now is the time to register, for groups wanting a stall at the Aranui Family Festival, Affirm on Saturday 6 December.
The first Affirm Festival was held last December, with more than 7000 people attending the family oriented day. Stall holders came from many organisations, offering free information, advice and giveaways on healthy living, family services, youth activities, employment and training opportunities.
“Affirm is a celebration of families and the fantastic community of Aranui,” Christchurch City Council community development adviser, Gill Redfern said.
“The stalls are an opportunity for organisations and groups to bring free information and services into the community, rather than people having to journey to them. Affirm is a fun filled day, guaranteed to have a positive impact on all who take part”
The Festival is being brought to the area by the Aranui Community Trust and is being sponsored by the Christchurch City Council and Housing New Zealand Corporation. More sponsors are also being sought for the day and anyone interested is invited to contact Gill Redfern on 373 9045
Further information and registration forms are also available from Gill Redfern. Registrations close on October 10.
