More opportunity to find out about the Eastern Transport Corridor options
An additional consultation date and venue has been added for residents and business owners in Auckland’s eastern suburbs
wanting to know more about the options for the Eastern Transport Corridor.
Those seeking information about the proposed 11 options and 47 alignments for the corridor now have a further
opportunity to meet with consultants investigating the Corridor options at the Orakei Community Centre, 156 Kepa Road
Orakei on Wednesday 15th October from 4pm to 8pm.
The chair of the Eastern Transport Corridor Steering Group, Councillor Greg McKeown, says the extra opportunity for
feedback from people living and working in the Eastern Bays will be invaluable to the process. "I’m pleased this extra
date has been added. I want to make it easier for Eastern Bays people to provide their input at this important stage,"
he says.
"We are asking for feedback about options that Opus are continuing to investigate - where it goes, how we build it, and
what modes of transport we build it for."
