Manukau Water General Manager Appointed
Manukau City Council has appointed Raveen Jaduram as General Manager of Manukau Water for a fixed period of 18 months as a result of the resignation of current GM Paul Utting.
Mr Jaduram, currently the Operations Manager for Metrowater, will bring a wealth of experience to the role having previously held positions in WaterCare, Auckland Regional Council and Auckland City Council. He is also the President elect for the NZ Water and Wastewater Industry Association.
"The council and city will have the benefit of Raveen's experience in the current review of water and wastewater services and the determination of future directions, said Manukau City Council Chief Executive, Colin Dale.
"It is essential the high quality of service currently delivered by Manukau Water is maintained through this review period and I am confident Raveen will provide the leadership necessary for this to continue.
"Manukau has been well served during Paul Utting's tenure as General Manager and residents can look forward to more of the same through Raveen's leadership", said Mr Dale.
Mr Jaduram will take up the position in mid September following Mr Utting's departure to a senior position within Rodney District Council in late August.
