Lower Domain Drive left-turn open
Transit New Zealand advises that work on the stormwater chamber at the intersection of Stanley Street and Lower Domain Drive has been completed. Left-turn access from Stanley Street into Lower Domain Drive is now open to all traffic.
The left turn from Lower Domain Drive to Stanley Street remains open; however the right turn from Stanley Street into Lower Domain Drive will remain closed until October.
Signage at the entrance to Lower Domain Drive will inform motorists of the traffic movements available. Signs, cones and barriers will be in place at all times to direct traffic. Transit asks motorists to be mindful of these measures and to drive carefully past road works. Pedestrians are advised to take care through this area.
This work is a component of the Grafton Gully motorway upgrade project which, when completed, will provide direct access between the motorway, Grafton Gully and the port area.
For more information about this project, please phone 0800 TO FREEFLOW (863 733) or visit the public information centre cnr Alten Rd & Stanley St, Grafton.
