More Children’s Literature for Fendalton Library
Library customers interested in classic children’s stories now have access to Fendalton Library’s Children’s Literature Collection – Through the Looking Glass: Children’s Books Worth Remembering.
The collection is to be officially launched on Monday 4 August at 11am at Fendalton Community Library, cnr Jeffreys and Clyde Roads.
It offers a range of children’s classic stories; an historical overview of children’s books; information on children’s authors and illustrators; and a changing selection of themed classics including fantasy, adventure, mystery and detective stories.
Fendalton Community Library has trained children’s specialists to help with any enquiries.
This great resource is open to everyone. It is expected to be particularly beneficial for some students of Canterbury University, the Christchurch College of Education and the Christchurch Polytechnic, who will be able to use it in support of their studies.
