Public invited to Aranui Community Renewal update
A meeting to inform the Aranui community of progress on the Aranui Community Renewal initiatives will be held on Wednesday 16 July at the Wainoni Aranui Family Centre, 31 Hampshire St.
A spokesperson from the Internal Affairs Department will speak about community funding. There will be information presented about the Mobile Breast Screening Unit, Maori Legal Services and Neighbourhood Support.
The meeting, which starts at 6pm will also include updates on work done in the area by the Aranui Community Trust, Housing New Zealand Corporation and the Christchurch City Council Parks Unit.
Aranui Community Renewal is a partnership between the Aranui community, Christchurch City Council and Housing New Zealand Corporation.
Everyone is welcome to come and share their views on “enhancing Aranui as a good place to live”.
