Pasifika Advisory Board nominations and meetings
A further update to yesterday’s Media Advisory on the same subject matter.
Nominations have closed for the election of the seven Pacific Island representatives to the Pasifika Advisory Board. Public election meetings and advisory board nominees are as follows: SAMOA Monday, 26 May 7pm Freemans Bay Community Centre, 54 Hepburn Street, Freemans Bay Nominees: Isabella Rasch Savea Al Harrington Lavea Wesley Faleolo Tanupo Ameto Aukuso Pa'u Tafaogalupe Mulitalo
NIUE Tuesday, 27 May 7pm Fickling Convention Centre, 546 Mt Albert Road, Mt Roskill Nominees: Nancy Wright-Sandoy Neville Tauelima Luisi
TONGA Thursday, 29 May 7pm Mt Albert War Memorial Hall, corner Wairere Ave and New North Road, Mt Albert Nominees: Nonga Tokolahi Makalita Kolo Amelia Fonua Helu Tauafu Fonua Mele Lita Afoloni Vete Semisi Taumoepeau Will Ilolahia Please be advised that the four other Pacific Islands; Fiji, Cook Islands, Tuvalu and Tokelau received only one nomination each, therefore representatives are appointed to the Board unchallenged and no public meeting will be necessary.
