Social Services Funding Available
Do you provide social services to the Manukau community but need to increase your ability to deliver your services more effectively? Manukau City Council is now calling for applications to its Social Investment Fund for city-wide projects.
Council is looking for funding applications from groups seeking over $20,000 to help deliver their programmes. Of particular interest is support to new and existing organisations that have initiatives targeting youth skills development.
The other key focus is on services and programmes for selected communities such as Maori, Pacific Island, Asian or new migrants.
To find out more about this Fund, please phone 09-262 8900, ext 8367 or visit our website www.manukau.govt.nz/funding.htm. Applications close 28 March 2003.
