LGNZ Welcomes New Communications Manager
Local Government New Zealand is proud to announce the appointment of Helen Morgan Banda as its new Communications Manager.
In announcing the appointment Local Government New Zealand Chief Executive Peter Winder stated, “We are thrilled to have attracted Helen to this position. Her skills and breadth of experience will be a major benefit for Local Government New Zealand and the wider local government sector.”
“This appointment reflects our commitment to high standards of professionalism and excellence in advancing the interests of our member Councils. Helen’s public sector experience will reinforce our lobbying and advocacy activity. Her private sector experience will help our moves to champion best practice within the local government sector,” Mr Winder said.
Helen brings to Local Government New Zealand high level communications expertise and experience across a range of public sector and private sector organisations, including Tranzrail, the NZ Police, EDS and Child Youth and Family.
Helen will take up the position in the New Year.
