Enchanted trails and magical tales at Auckland Zoo
This Labour Weekend Auckland Zoo is the place to be for kids who love dressing up, listening to story tellers spinning magical tales, and going on wild and wonderful adventure trails around the world!
Kids are encouraged to dress up as their favourite animal and have their face painted for free when they bring their grown-ups along to 'Enchanted Trails & Magical Tales' this Saturday, Sunday or Monday. It's going to be full-on fun.
Actors with a passion for storytelling will be leading three separate trails every half-hour from 11am - 2pm for 0-8year olds and those 8 years and up (maximum 25 per tour).
There'll be a wild Pridelands (African) safari, an awesome Aussie outback adventure, and an action-packed tour through numerous countries to meet some very precious primates!
Children who dress up will be in to win spot prizes. Free animal face painting will be offered from 11am - 1pm.
Also on offer will be the Zoo's weekend and holiday schedule of keeper encounters involving giraffes, lions, tigers, elephants, lemurs, rainforest creatures, and our new daily native fauna encounter.
