Affco Holdings To Relocate Head Office
AFFCO Holdings Ltd's Chief Executive Officer Tony Egan announced today that the company will relocate its Auckland Head Office to its Horotiu plant in Hamilton.
Mr Egan said that the company has been assessing alternatives to its central Auckland headquarters, and the Horotiu option had won out over the alternative proposal of building new premises at Wiri in South Auckland.
"Horotiu is located in the heart of our supplier base, and provides us with the opportunity to relocate into existing accommodation owned by the company."
Sixty-five staff, primarily sales, finance and management personnel, will be involved in the move, which the company hopes to complete by December 2002.
AFFCO will sub-lease its present office space at AFFCO House in Swanson Street, Auckland.
