Painted apple moth meeting
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is holding a meeting at Point Chevalier next Thursday 3 October to discuss with local residents its extended eradication programme against the painted apple moth.
The eradication programme includes an aerial operation that covers an 8,000 hectare zone in parts of Waitakere and Auckland Cities.
The next aerial operation is scheduled for Monday 14 October – weather permitting. Representatives of the biosecurity team will be on hand to answer questions from the public.
