Keiringa Painters and Potters
Celebrate Blossom Festival with the Keirunga Painters and Potters who will have pieces of work for sale and on display at Keirunga Gardens Havelock North. Features include the creative clay pottery exhibition with guest exhibitor Kim Morgan. Open on the 7th of September untill the 15th of September. Sunday 8th September from 9.30pm to 4.00pm. Floral displays,local nurseries,camellias,companion plants,touchwood books,copperart,porcelain artists,weaving and home produce goodies. New Zealand String Quartet
Riding on a wave after its stunning presentation of the Complete Beethoven Cycle in six centres around the country in 2000-2001, the New Zealand String Quartet will perform: Barber's Quartet Opus 11 and Borodin's Quartet No 2 in D. Overview: Berg's hidden letter to his lover "a small monument of a great love", Barber's quartet which introduced his famous Adagio to the world, and Borodin's romantic memento for his wife, containing the well-known Nocturne. 8pm, Century Theatre, Napier, Hawkes Bay September 11
