Last Call For Organisations To List In Crime Prevention Directory
Safer Manukau is looking for more Manukau organisations who wish to have a listing in their Crime Prevention Directory.
The Safer Manukau Community Council is an organisation whose primary focus is crime prevention for all of Manukau City.
Co-ordinator Vanessa Papali’i says “We’re currently in the process of compiling a directory of services that are directly linked to crime reduction/prevention and community safety in Manukau. These services include District Truancy Services, Neighbourhood Watch, Crime Watch Patrol Groups, Family Violence Prevention Programmes and organisations working with youth at risk of offending.
“We’ve got a good number of organisations already included but we’d like to make sure we have as many as possible before we produce the directory.”
Organisations who wish to have a free listing in the directory can call Vanessa before 1 May, on 262 8900 ext 8749.
