Waterfront Watch will hold its AGM this Sunday, 28 April 2002, commencing 3pm in the Wellington Rowing Club’s building
on the waterfront.
The guest speaker is David Kernohan. As Chairman of the Waterfront Development Subcommittee, he has been closely

design competition and it will soon be judging the merits of the design proposals submitted.
David will talk about current planning on the waterfront including the competition and what he hopes it will achieve for
Chaffers Park before taking questions from the floor.
Attendees at the AGM might take the opportunity to view Chaffers Park competition entries earlier in the day, at the
Herd St. Post Office building from 10am.
The President of Waterfront Watch, Lindsay Shelton, will outline an incredibly busy year gone by, including the
successful appeal to the Environment Court to prevent the relocation of the Wellington Free Ambulance Building, as well
as the submission on Variation 22 and monitoring of the work of the Waterfront Development Subcommittee.
Elections will be hold for the positions of President, Vice-President and for the committee. Prospective members are
most welcome to attend and can join at the meeting or can write to Waterfront Watch, P.O. Box 9668, Marion Square,
