Mayor 'Chats' Having Break

Published: Mon 9 Apr 2001 11:45 AM
Christchurch's Mayor Garry Moore will not hold his lunchtime Chats in Cathedral Square on the next two Fridays.
He will not attend next Friday, as it is Easter Friday.
Also, he will miss the following Friday as he has a long-standing commitment.
However, he will resume his 12-1pm Chats on Friday 27 April on his red-and-black seat bench in the Square.
Mr. Moore says he has found the Chats, which started earlier this year, stimulating and highly useful in his job.
"They have proved to be some of the most stimulating work I have experienced my local government experience," he says.
