Mayor Expands To Web Board

Published: Tue 27 Feb 2001 10:07 AM
Christchurch’s Mayor Garry Moore has expanded his web site by creating a web board for discussion on any subject.
His Mayor’s Forum has been available for about a year and today he expanded it by opening a web board that can be reached on www.christchurchmayor.org.nz.
This is in addition to his Friday chats with residents in Cathedral Square, conducted from a park bench.
The Mayor is calling for ideas and comments and will respond to the web-board discussion when necessary.
The web board has been introduced using letters received in the past. They touch subjects such as the central city revitalisation proposals to traffic flows.
