FROM AMEX CUP VILLAGE
Rachel Hunter had nothing but praise for the American Express New Zealand Cup Village when she visited this morning. Rachel was taken by Village staff out into the marina to see the Team New Zealand boats depart for the racecourse, and surprised the crew by being there to wish them luck.
Rachel called out to international reporters on a boat; "Isn't this just great, isn't Auckland just wonderful?"
She spent around 45 minutes on a water tour of the AMEX Cup Village, and it was only another pressing engagement that saw her leave, otherwise she would have been more than happy to spend most of the morning in the marina.
Once spotted by the photographers, Rachel was more than happy to show off the temporary New Zealand tattoo on her arm. The huge crowd, who were in the AMEX Cup Village watching the boats depart, scrambled for their cameras to get a shot of the international model.
